Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated Texas routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and adhere to FMCSA safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records via ELD systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance updates
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Texas highways
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for on-time deliveries
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- No prior commercial driving experience necessary - training provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
