Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA and company regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (EOBR) records and all required documentation.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of freight while adhering to assigned routes.
- Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and other personnel.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for documentation.
