Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
- Assist in fleet maintenance coordination
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A/B preferred)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment knowledge
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Willingness to obtain hazmat endorsement (optional)
