Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (straight trucks and tractor-trailers) for local and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure mechanical safety
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
- Participate in ongoing safety training and skill development
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (required)
- No prior commercial driving experience necessary
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation to and from terminal
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be at least 21 years of age
