Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed, or refrigerated) following DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and mileage tracking systems
- Complete daily inspection reports and maintenance logs
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HOS compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license (Class A or B permit acceptable)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to complete our paid 4-week CDL training program
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and paperwork
- Reliable transportation to training facility
- Must be at least 21 years old
- No DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
