Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks and trailers) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload freight using proper techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Adhere to delivery schedules and routes while prioritizing safety
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid California Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's Permit (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for load verification and documentation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- No prior experience required – training provided!
