Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Assist in securing cargo and handling hazardous materials (when certified)
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License required
- No CDL experience necessary - we provide paid training
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic math and navigation skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, or weekends
- Willingness to obtain hazmat endorsement after training
