Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry vans and reefers) for local and regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Deliver freight on time with excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and required documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (no experience required)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation to terminal
