Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local/regional deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch team
- Load/unload cargo efficiently and ensure proper securing
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Document delivery status and handle route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
