Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques and weight distribution
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems while adhering to delivery schedules
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and roadside assistance
- Comply with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist in warehouse operations when not on driving assignments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license (training provided if unlicensed)
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and delivery documentation
- Strong time management with punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
