Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently following DOT regulations
- Transport freight to designated locations across Texas and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience (or willingness to complete paid training)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of transportation regulations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Physical ability to handle cargo and climb in/out of vehicles
