Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt)
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for timely deliveries
- Maintain clean, well-functioning equipment through basic preventative maintenance
- Manage load/unload procedures at various job sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience or equivalent heavy equipment operation
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Phoenix metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (summer heat, dust)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
