Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport loose materials (dirt, rock, sand, asphalt) to and from job sites.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and delivery documentation as required by DOT and company policy.
- Drive defensively, obeying all traffic laws and construction zone regulations.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and equipment operators.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license with Tanker endorsement (Hazmat preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience in construction or hauling.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety standards.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Must have a clean driving record and pass a drug screen.
- Valid DOT medical card.
