Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks (end-dump and belly-dump) on construction sites and public roads
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload construction materials (gravel, asphalt, demolition debris) at job sites
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting on route
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Indianapolis metro area roadways
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
