Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport dirt, rock, gravel, and construction materials to and from job sites.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload materials safely using winches, ramps, and forklifts.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and maintain a clean driving record.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of local Baton Rouge roadways and traffic patterns.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor and lifting heavy loads.
