Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 dump trucks for material transport at construction sites and quarries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient route optimization
- Load/unload materials using proper safety techniques and equipment
- Complete daily paperwork including delivery tickets and incident reports
- Represent Desert Haul Solutions with professional conduct at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable dump truck or heavy-haul experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in operating manual transmissions and air brake systems
- Strong knowledge of Las Vegas metro area and surrounding desert regions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to work variable shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Must pass comprehensive background check and MVR review
