Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring items are secured properly for transport.
- Deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner, maintaining a positive brand image.
- Collect payments or obtain signatures where necessary.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred.
- Must possess a valid State Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-100 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and managing paperwork.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to plan efficient routes.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
