Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial locations in the Nashville area.
- Load and unload cargo using dollies and hand trucks, ensuring items are secured properly.
- Provide top-tier customer service by interacting professionally with clients at each delivery stop.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition before and after shifts.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and handle all required paperwork, including electronic proof of delivery (POD).
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Proof of auto insurance and current vehicle registration.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and communication.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems.
