Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations across New York City
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and potential delays
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be at least 21 years old with 1+ year of professional driving experience
- Strong knowledge of New York City boroughs and major roadways
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation to/from designated depot locations
