Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food packages, retail goods, and time-sensitive materials to customers across Austin
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and handle delivery-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and inventory tracking via our mobile app
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and customer concerns
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Smartphone proficiency for using our delivery tracking and communication apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Excellent communication and customer service aptitude
- Flexible availability including weekends and peak hours
- Reliable personal vehicle (must pass inspection) or willingness to use company vehicle
