Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to customers across Memphis
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and address inquiries professionally
- Load/unload packages with care to prevent damage during transit
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations within 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Excellent customer communication abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
