Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using real-time navigation tools to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse locations
Qualifications
- Valid US driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 pounds regularly
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management skills and route optimization abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service aptitude
