Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated delivery points in Baltimore and surrounding Virginia areas.
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Manage delivery documentation, including electronic proof of delivery (ePOD) and logs.
- Follow strict time schedules and route planning to ensure timely arrivals.
- Load and unload cargo using hand-trucks, pallet jacks, or by hand, ensuring proper handling of fragile items.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major infractions within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging deliveries and accessing route maps.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
