Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within designated Georgia routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize time efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and problem resolution
- Collaborate with dispatch team to address delivery exceptions and route adjustments
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
