Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies
- Load, unload, and verify package contents for accuracy
- Efficiently navigate designated routes using GPS technology
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team
- Uphold professional appearance and courteous customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to/from depot location
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
