Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout San Jose
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries professionally
- Collaborate with dispatch team to update delivery status and address issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus
- Proven experience in delivery, logistics, or transportation field
- Strong knowledge of San Jose streets and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with mobile delivery apps and GPS navigation systems
- Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center
