Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Navigate San Diego’s streets professionally to deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses on time, every time.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional service by interacting courteously with customers and handling packages with the utmost care and respect.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Technology Integration: Utilize our mobile app to scan, track, and confirm deliveries in real-time, keeping our logistics transparent and efficient.
- Package Handling: Sort and organize packages according to route efficiency, ensuring the correct order and reducing delivery errors.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid Class C driver's license is required with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Reliable Transportation: Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for local deliveries (we also offer vehicle programs for those without a personal vehicle).
- Smartphone Proficiency: Must be comfortable using a smartphone for navigation, scanning, and logging delivery status.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple stops within a shift efficiently.
