Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses across the San Antonio metro area.
- Verify delivery addresses and confirm contents before loading to ensure accuracy.
- Provide excellent customer service by handling packages with care and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Utilize handheld devices and GPS navigation to optimize delivery routes and ensure timely arrivals.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to lift, push, and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with smartphones and tablet applications.
- Reliable personal transportation and proof of insurance.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm in traffic.
