Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial clients within the Portland metro area and surrounding suburbs.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate drop-offs with proper recipient signatures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a clean, organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Assist customers with loading/unloading items when necessary and provide friendly service.
- Complete daily logs, mileage reports, and vehicle inspection checks.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or road hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld delivery devices or GPS systems.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
