Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver food and packages to customers within Portland metro area using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and update tracking systems in real-time
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during all transit operations
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transit time
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and delays
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Portland streets and neighborhoods
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
- Reliable transportation to/from work location
- Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
