Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in the Philadelphia metro area.
- Verify delivery contents against the manifest to ensure accuracy.
- Obtain proper signatures and maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic proof of delivery records.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve delivery issues on the spot when possible.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, including heavy lifting as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and polite demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable personal vehicle is required for local delivery routes.
