Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and GPS tracking for real-time route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs immediately
- Operate delivery apps and technology to update delivery statuses and communicate with dispatch
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure accurate order preparation and loading
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Oakland neighborhoods and Bay Area roadways
- Professional communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Reliable smartphone with data plan and ability to use delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
