Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial addresses in Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Obeying all traffic laws and maintaining a clean driving record.
- Inspecting the delivery vehicle for cleanliness and mechanical issues before and after each shift.
- Providing excellent customer service, including ringing doorbells, obtaining signatures, and handling returns.
- Updating delivery status in the company's tracking system accurately and efficiently.
- Assisting with loading and unloading packages from the delivery vehicle.
- Adhering to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic understanding of GPS and navigation systems.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid car insurance and registration required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the designated starting point.
