Responsibilities
- Safe Driving: Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on Long Beach and local routes.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, verify addresses, and obtain signatures.
- Vehicle Care: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Route Planning: Follow designated routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely service.
- Inventory: Maintain accurate records of packages and deliveries.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class C or CDL if applicable).
- Background: Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Communication: Basic English language skills for communication.
- Time Management: Good time management and navigation skills.
