Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Interact with customers in a polite and helpful manner, handling any questions or concerns professionally.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Update delivery status using mobile applications to maintain accurate tracking records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy and smartphone proficiency for navigation and app-based tasks.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
