Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and food items across Raleigh metropolitan area
- Verify delivery addresses and maintain accurate delivery logs using GPS technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and handle inquiries professionally
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting strict delivery time windows
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and maintain organized vehicle storage
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Strong time management skills and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shift
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
