As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring our clients receive their goods safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Verify and inspect cargo for damage before and after transit.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all items.
- Interact professionally with customers, including accepting payments and obtaining signatures when necessary.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and route instructions.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state license.
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic understanding of GPS navigation systems and mobile apps.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
