Job Overview:
Our drivers play a critical role in our logistics network. You will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations within the Houston metropolitan area and surrounding regions, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and safety.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated addresses in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with clients.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and fueled.
- Accurately log delivery times, mileage, and any incidents using handheld devices or apps.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate Houston traffic efficiently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and checking GPS directions.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
