Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Sacramento area.
- Obtain and verify signatures upon delivery while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after routes to ensure it is clean and in good working condition.
- Load and unload merchandise from the delivery truck, ensuring items are secured properly.
- Update the delivery status in the company's tracking system in real-time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Handle cash or digital payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders accurately.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow a route map.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm in traffic.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
