Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver packages to residential and business locations throughout Sacramento and the greater CA area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road regulations, and company safety policies to ensure accident-free driving.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and handling packages with care.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and cleanliness.
- Utilize GPS navigation and mobile apps to optimize delivery routes and update status information.
- Unload packages accurately and place them in designated drop-off zones.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Access to a reliable smartphone for navigation and communication.
- Basic English language proficiency for communication with dispatch and customers.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
