Responsibilities
- Transport packages, documents, and goods to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and ensuring delivery satisfaction.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Sort and organize cargo according to delivery routes and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and mileage for payroll and tax purposes.
- Use handheld delivery management systems and GPS navigation tools effectively.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Access to a reliable smartphone with data and GPS capabilities.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
