Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial locations in Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Navigate complex routes using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and receipts.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or standard state driver's license.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Achieve and maintain a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries.
- Must be available for immediate start.
