Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required.
- Inspect vehicle for any damage before and after shifts and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and personal appearance standards.
- Use mobile technology (GPS/App) to navigate routes efficiently and update delivery statuses.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries with a positive, friendly attitude and resolve any delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle suitable for commercial delivery (or availability to use company vehicle).
- Smartphone proficiency (Android or iOS) to utilize delivery management apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
