Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Columbus metro routes efficiently
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques and maintain inventory logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and resolve inquiries promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Complete delivery documentation and digital tracking systems accurately
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and routes
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous delivery experience preferred
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery apps
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Flexible availability including evenings/weekends as needed
