Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or retail items to customers across Chicago metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon request
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage inventory and securely handle high-value deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles (training provided)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route management apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
