Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food packages, documents, and goods to designated locations within Kansas City
- Verify delivery orders against manifests and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at drop-off points
- Maintain clean, well-maintained vehicle and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrival and fuel efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and delays
- Handle cash transactions and payment processing accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Reliable personal vehicle (or willingness to use company vehicle)
- Proof of current auto insurance and vehicle registration
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City streets and navigation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
