Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles within designated DC metropolitan routes
- Load/unload packages with precision and care (up to 50 lbs)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC geography
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Physical ability to lift packages and operate in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to our K Street NW hub
