Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers in the Columbus, NC area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients and handling inquiries professionally.
- Follow designated delivery routes and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Manage paperwork accurately, including delivery logs and receipts.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with mobile apps for navigation and logging.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
