Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are handled with care and placed in the correct locations.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Interact with customers courteously and resolve any delivery issues that may arise.
- Complete daily delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on vehicle type) OR clean driving record for local non-CDL positions.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation to work.
- Must be willing to work in various weather conditions.
