Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and goods to residential and commercial locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper loading/unloading procedures
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly and professional interactions
- Report maintenance issues and follow vehicle safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Colorado Springs streets and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
